Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry Flows Solo

We new it was only a matter time: Marsha "The Songstress" Ambrosius of the London-based Floetry is going solo. A deal is reportedly in the works between the golden-voiced vocalist and super producer Dr. Dre.

Marsha is adamant that the recent developments are no indication that Floetry is calling it quits. In fact, she suggests that her solo effort will benefit the duo.

Floetry recently received a "Best Urban/Alternative Performance" Grammy nomination for their collaboration with rapper Common, "SupaStar".

With Dre's beats and Marsha's voice, we smell an instant classic brewing.

Hallelujah!

I dig Floetry but Marsha needs to do a solo cd.

Good for her I think she'll do better without the other girl.
