Saturday Soul on Sunday: J*Davey in Paris

From The Cocoa Lounge

The French fashion label, Lacoste, recently celebrated their collaboration with designer Michael Young and the launch of Plastic Polo.

One of our favorite new music duos, J*Davey took the stage as part of the festivities, with an off-the-cuff performance of "Hi Sun" that makes us want to pop the wheels and go electric! Weeeeeee!

Love it! I'm late to the game on this group. Of course itunes has nothing. I'm feeling Hi Sun. I can feel it becoming my new obsession. :-)

Definitely check them out, you guys. I had a chance to see them live about a year ago. There were some tech issues trying to rain on the parade, but they rocked it anyway.

They're edgy & different and I like that. I imagine they're a lot like what Pharrell and Kelis would've been had they decided to form a duo, lol. Except Pharrell would probably do half the singing.

I'm definitely going to check out their free music. Thanks so much Cocoa for continuing to provide so much exciting info on black folks out there doing their thing.

It's such a pleasure to visit this site.
