S. Epatha Merkerson Strikes Gold

S. Epatha Merkerson is building up a pretty impressive trophy case. At Monday night's Golden Globe Awards ceremony, she was awarded Best Actress in a TV movie or miniseries for her role as "Nanny" in HBO's Lackawanna Blues. This is the second award she's received for the role (she won the Emmy late last year).

"This is so amazing," she said. "I am 53 years old. This is my first lead in a film. I feel like I'm 16. And if I wasn't in the middle of a hot flash, I'd believe that."
